circuit guards the cell against over-charge, over-discharge and short circuit, and the cell carries an
IPX6 water-resistance rating. Supplied sealed in the original Nitecore retail blister.

- Because of the protection circuit, a protected 18650 is slightly longer than an unprotected one.
